OUR STORY
In April 2023, Max Alperstein was inspired by a bold vision: to create a podcast that would be his voice, a platform where he, as a Latino with a rich and diverse background, could express his thoughts and break down barriers. He knew this journey couldn’t be traveled alone, and that’s when he found the perfect partner—Jacob Finkel, affectionately known as "Fink." Jacob's wealth of knowledge and magnetic personality made him an ideal co-host. Their friendship had been forged years earlier at Camp Yavneh, where their bond had only grown stronger over time.
United by their shared dream, Max and Jacob set out to bring their vision to life. They initially dubbed their project "Divine Interventions," but it wasn’t long before they realized that "Fearless Interventions" was a better fit for their ambitious goals. With relentless determination and the backing of their supportive families, they immersed themselves in every detail—designing logos, drafting legal documents, setting up channels, creating eye-catching artwork, and crafting descriptions that would captivate their future audience.
Their dream started to take shape, and on May 4, 2023, Max and Jacob proudly released their debut episode, “A Start To Something Amazing - Fearless Interventions EP. 1.” That day marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Since then, their podcast has blossomed, filled with countless memorable moments, engaging conversations, and an ever-growing audience. Max and Jacob’s enduring friendship has been the cornerstone of their success, and they eagerly look forward to the continued adventure that is Fearless Interventions.

Hosted by Jewish teens Max and Jacob Finkel, Fearless Interventions is committed to inspiring and empowering the next generation through a Jewish lens. Our podcast embraces the values of tikkun olam—repairing the world—by fostering intergenerational dialogue and connecting with the broader community. We aim to bridge gaps between tradition and the contemporary world, encouraging fearless conversations on social justice, personal growth, and communal responsibility. Through engaging discussions and shared stories, we strive to empower young voices to become active agents of change and build a more inclusive and compassionate world.
